Colours for a dark bay.

Hi all,

My little mare needs a new numnah/saddlecloth. She currently has a purple mark todd one with a black half pad, I'm looking to change this something dark maybe?! don't want to spend a fortune. Can i still use a half-pad with a numnah?.
Colour suggestions and links appreciated

Yes, you can use a half pad with a numnah although it may be difficult to find a combination that fits well together.

You're lucky having a dark bay as they suit anything (try having a ginger ) so just choose your favourite colours!

My dark bay has a hkm turquoise/silver and cappacino/gold saddle cloth both look really nice with his colouring.

I have a bright bay who's colours are going to be burgundy, but I do think burgundy would look very nice on a dark bay

Bright colours look brilliant against dark bays IMO, so if you feel daring something like lemon or lime green? Pale colours do as well but you'd have to be very brave about the washing up!!

Thank you for your comments and suggestions! I do like the idea of burgandy too... I've seen a lovley John Whitaker burgandy one with a trim butttt i cant find it online!
Lolo- Agree with the bright colours, her purple one is veryy bright!
Winklepoker- were can i buy HKM saddle pads?not so intrested on the bandages,but i cant seem to find them, is there any online shops you can reccomend!?
