When would you expect this to begin my colt is 24 weeks old and still a dream to be around!! so depite my plan to get him cut as soon as.. I am now thinking early spring...or am I being premature in thinking he should be acting up?? or IS he just a chilled character??

where i work we have a hack colt whos rising 2 (rupert). He's such a dood. I lead him around in a head collar. Lead mares passed his box, he realy is dope on a rope. My new pony is an 8yr old gelding (but he was only cut last year). I had him tied near to Ruperts stable and herbie reared up and waved his front legs at rupert. Poor rupert was horrified and stood at the back of his box till herbie had gone. I think it all depends on the horse and how they have been bought up we have never exepted coltish behaviour from rupert and he is told off at the slightest sign. He is going to stay a stallion so i hope his nice temprament continues.
