44 - First time this year I'd been eligible for the geriatric jumping class at our local show, remember my mum competing 20 years ago and winning a special prize for the oldest combined age of horse and rider at 71 :)

Just had to bump this, as once again i met up with another of my late mothers friends when out this morning. She gobsmacked me by saying she was still riding, albeit only once a week or so. We seem yo have quite a few oldies round here still keeping fit!
She is 82, her mount is 31 :)
I can only aspire to carrying on like this at that age! !

21 with Diva; 32 with Rosie, but I can't stop thinking of her as 'the baby'.
I'm older than my girl...if I was a horse trying to be insured I'd be a 'veteran', I think. But only just!! (You won't guess my age).

(Bringing this thread back for a bit of fun).

Rather easy to guess your age actually :p you are 15

It was sarcasm! ;) I know :P I tend to shout my mares' full biographies from the roof tops, so it's not hard to find out their ages, then from there it's a tiny bit of (very) simple maths. I'm probably too young for HHO technically but ah well, it's the only place to get decent information about young horses, so I'm sticking around!
