Tomorrow I am doing my first ever combined training and also my first time out jumping! I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP!
I have a dressage time and it says go straight down to the jumping!
when do i walk the course?
should I plait up?
do i get practice jumps?
and any other advice anyone could possibly give please!!

Good luck keep calm and get there nice and early so you can see what everyone else is doing. It is normal to have a bit of time between dressage and SJing but sounds like it might not be the case.

Plaits always look smart for dressage so pop some in if you can. There should be practice jumps but depends on organisation and space. Main thing is get there early and see how everyone else is doing things

Enjoy and look forward to report tomorrow ;)

I did combined training today - there was no course walking, I just watched a few go, learnt the course and that was it. The warmup arena was split into two - one for dressage and one with a couple of practice jumps. There was a large time slot for jumping so you just did your dressage test and then got yourself ready, warmed up and went over to jump - it worked well, never had to wait for more than a couple to jump before could go in. I did plait as it looks smart :D Good luck!

thank you everyone! very eventful day!
didn't walk the course in the end which was a mistake as didn't see fence 4 until riding past it- managed to do a circle and go back for it!
did plait!
there was warm up jumps and managed to fall off! great! back is killing now!
also lots and lots of rain which put off most of the competition so managed to come home with a red ribbon!
what a day!
