Comined training was the order of the day at GoldenX this Sunday!
B was entered in the N24/90cms jumping - our second attempt at N24.
He was a good boy to warm up and just went a little dead when we went in to our test, but was accurate and obedient - just lacked sparkle and mediums (there are NONE!!!) was very pleased to score 63.4% - judges comments were bang on = "needs to take more weight behind and over back etc..."
On to the show jumping, popped a couple of warm up fences and went to the ring. He jumped superbly, flew the course for a clear
so we finished on our dressage score and ended up third Big pats for the bog pony!
He went XC schooling at LMEQ on Friday and had a whale of a time - jumped all the fences that I have been worried about straight and first time!!
Fingers crossed for Rackham a week today!! A completion will be better than last year
