Combined Training Results!

Sorry self indulgent post!

Went to our first ever Combined training yesterday.
Rode prelim 4 test and got 67.7% but had two stops in the jumping-naughty pony kept looking at the time keeper! And ended up 5th

Rode Prelim 18 and gt 66.7% and jumped clear- though a bit on the quick side (blinked and you missed it) ended up 2nd and highest placed RC member rosette too!!!

Woohoo! Well chuffed just a bit disappointed that all the BD ones are miles and miles away!

Has anyone ridden the spillers BD combined training ones??

I did the Spillers Novice last year - jumps were HUGE (well for me) was in the lead after the dressage but unfortuately had two poles in the jumping which dropped me to 4th (only 1-3 qualify). However i wouldnt have wanted to go to the finals are the jumps are massive and its on grass which i hate jumping on!

Well done they are fab results.
BD combined training isn't close to me either and even if we did qualify for the final I wouldn't want to jump on grass due to her navicular.

I wouldnt mind about that, she Grade B so its not too bad providing she hasnt go t her silly hat on!

There was one just down to the road at Knebworth Park but the show organiser (Pat Priestman) died there and they are only running unaff. SJ now.

Oh well ill have to keep an eye out for next year!
