Does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase a very thick combo stable rug? My boy was a bit chilly this morning so I think he needs a thicker rug over this cold spell!

Dont want to spend a fortune...

Yep, agree that WB belmont combo is a good bet. That's what I have for my mare, it washes well and keeps her toasty.

My horses have Weatherbeeta Combos. I don't remember the name of the line but probably the Belmont as others have said, they look the same anyway, sort of anorak/duvet type. Totally fantastic, warm and cosy. Unfortunately the 300g is too bulky to fit in the washing machine, even my Dyson, but I have them professionally washed at the end of every winter season and they come up like new.

Thanks everyone. Think I will look for the Belmont at a good price/on offer as I prefer it to the JHL as it has a bum flap!

Thanks!

I use the weatherbeeta under rug, which has a full neck. I just pop that on under his usual rug when the temperature drops, keeps him lovely and snug. Cant remember price but think is was 50 quid ish.

Just bought a Weatherbeeta Belmont for our horse and they come up big so be warned. I like the rug and as he has high withers it suits him with no seam where the neck cover joins. I would say that the outer material is very thin and so I'm just using it as an under rug with a Fal over the top otherwise I think he'd catch it and it would stink within a matter of days. The nylon lining is a plus as well. On balance I'm happy with it but I wouldn't use it as a top layer.

Also just bought him a Weatherbeeta Orican and am very pleased with it.
