My Daihatsu Fourtrak has it everywhere, it holds my number plate light, mud guards and even part of my bumper on!

it also holds the piping up along the roof for our automatic waters as they are really high ceilings

i plait three twines together to make strong rope.

Also useful for making 'washing lines' in the stable for rugs to hang on :)

This! Also, for holding the exhaust on your car together long enough to get to the garage . . . making an improvised dog lead (in emergency only) . . . tying boot shut when transporting a large Christmas tree . . .

I've used it as a temporary tie for rugs when my old geldings buckle got chewed off by a helpful companion.

At the moment I have a hell of a lot of it around my rubber mats as I am moving yards tommorrow. (rolled up so easier to carry)

I have used it plaited to re-string haynets.

Mate once made a haynet out of baler twine that could hold a full small bale!!

Husband has a few designer baler twine belts ( ie, bits of twine holding his kegs up :D)

You know I don't think I EVER throw out baler twine - I reuse it all ! (Saddo ;-))

Using a piece as a measure to get clipping lines same on both sides of pony.

Tied brothers house door handle to his truck once for a trick, so he could only get door ajar. Hehe.

A belt when my elastic suddenly went in my jodhpurs!

Threaded through my hoof pick to hang it up.

My OH uses it to hold the tape on the electric fence to put it back in the clips when it pops out.

I use it on my hay ring to hang the net off rather than tying it to the ring itself.

When you're out hacking and the goon takes off with you and sticks his foot through the reigns, you can make a whole new bridle with baler twine (which we did for the 2 hour hack back home!) He looked very fetching in an orange "bridle" :)

love it but y did you have twine with you at begging of hack lol

Ha ha LOL. Like this one!!!

I've used it as a replacement shopping bag handle (just the fashion accessory in Waitrose!); plus spare stirrup leather when mine broke; used plaited bailer twine as a belt for baggy jods; dogs leads, measuring out the arena, most recent enterprise is to tie plastic bags on it and use it as a training aid for Le Trec!!
