Looks more and more likely that we'll be doing dog sitting/dog boarding/cat boarding/doggy day care from home.

Have been in touch with NARDS (http://www.nards.co.uk/) and will be speaking to Environmental Health tomorrow.

Sooo...IF we get the green light for this, I want a catchy name for a website.

Some I've seen so far are "barking mad", "walk-ease", "Paw-Perfect" etc etc.

Anyone have any ideas??

You've all done this before, haven't you? :p :D

I was trying to think of a name that reflects the sentiment that people could be sending their dogs to a holiday in the country here, whilst they go on their holidays elsewhere..if that makes sense?

Best I could think of without taxing my brain too much, hence why I need your help is...

Rover's Retreat - dog holiday boarding/day care service.

Country Canines - the compete dog sitting and home boarding service.

Doggy Days Home Boarding

K9 comforts boarding service

PussyGalore cat hotel:rolleyes::D Catastic Cattery:D Aristocat boarding Service

Whatever your farm is called boarding service:p

Petpalace home boarding service

Have pm'd you Cayla to show you the farm name is far from catchy. Love your suggestions, especially K9 Comforts. ;)

I would love the name to reflect that we're not on a housing estate in a town but on extensive farmland. No traffic, lots of fields to explore, so that when people see us they think "oooo that sounds like somewhere Pooch might like to stay.

Yay!! I like that Cayla, and what you put in the pm. :)

You have definitely fully grasped what I want/need the name to convey from the outset. There are quite alot of Dogsitters on the Nards site, but none in our actual area. One South and again another one North from here but neither closer than 7 miles away or in a rural farmland setting.

Will have to get my hubby making me a website soon. ;)

It did take me a while to notice they were in the Isle of Wight. lol

My sister suggested...

Clare's Canine Cappers.

Clearly she's a fan of alliteration, although I did think it had a pretty good ring to it. :D

Canine Cappers sounds like a dogsitter's version of "three men and a baby". lol

Right...I'll have a chat with the hubby. If I let him make the executive decision he will feel like he's a part of it.

PMSL! She typed Cappers in her text and I just copied it. How dumb of me.

Yes, of course Canine Country Capers.
