Comedy Show Names

Slightly off topic but similar. It's not going to happen, but if I did have a son have thought it would be hilarious to call him Martin. My husband won't get the joke but our son would be Martin Gale
Then I could get him a pony called Head High - Martin Gale riding Head High

Lanky Loll I remember Dad's Ferrari, used to compete against it. Pony used to compete up in Scotland about 20 years ago called "Simmet and Drawers" which basically means "vest and pants" for all the non scottish folks

My boy very nearly was named Decree Absolute :p as i bought him after my then husband refused to let me buy him - i did buy him though after divorcing my husband :D

My first pony was an appaloosa who's show name was Spotted Dick (after the pudding) but the commentator at our local unaffiliated events would let me use it there and I couldn't understand why!

There was a good junior horse in my youth called 'Daddy's Aeroplane' as that's what he had replaced in the family budget.

I quite like all the 'Dun' names, both the eventing ones and the HUGE number of reining horses with them. The western people give bizarre names but occasionally come up with some great ones.

There was a team at the E & S team chase last year called 'The Sofa King Goods' :D
I used to have a mare called 'Whatever you like' which would cause confusion when somebody asked me what her name was!
'What's her show name?'
' Whatever You Like'
'...... No, you need to give her a name to compete under'
:D
