Comfiest pants to ride in?

Just had to join in!
Well, over the years, I've tried thongs, shorts, bridget jones pants, and the padded ones.
I've actually found that if you sit still in the saddle you can get away with most things!!
BUT I once tried a thong on a lazy horse (not literally lol) and it was VV uncomfy!
The padded pants I didn't get on with - it was like sitting on a hard cushion and felt like I was perching on the saddle.
My most comfy is the seamless big white M&S knicks!

LOL it happens to me too, do you have to sneak into the tack room afterwards to straighten everything out...

I just know one day my boss will walk in and be like "what the hell are you doing?"

I always ride in thongs as I hate VPL and where I work it is noticed. The other day I had a thong problem - was trotting round the track thinking 'OMG my thong is not feeling good at all today' so told the lads not to look while I surrepticiously readjusted it and rode on, still uncomfortable so when I got back to the yard I went to the loo to investigate. I'd only gone and put it on with one leg through the body whole and the other in the normal place and it is a stringy thong from M&S so that would account for the discomfort.

I ride in tescos knicker shorts, they are so comfy and don't rub anywhere. I rode commando last night as I went straight from work and only had a thong and thought that I'd be better with nothing

I had mastered removing my thong from up my doodaa whilst doing a rising trot LOL , trick is to stay behind whoever you are riding with and do it quickly

hence I now ride in my short knickers. mind you I had a problem with them on Friday afternoon, not quite sure what was happening but there was a lot of unpleasant rubbing going on, think it was a backlash from going commando on thursday night

I'm shocked at how many people have underwear problems when riding????

Can't say I have ever had a problem or that the potential issue has even crossed my mind? And I wear lots of different types of underwear?????

I think that today I have sussed why I have problems. I have some jods that are a bit baggy around the crutch area as the are too short and the foot strap things pull them down so I have a baggy bit. Today I had my jods on that are long enough and are a snug fit in all the right places and had no problem at all. I reckon its to do with the jods rather than underwear so I am going to do some reseach this week!!
