Evening everyone

Im looking at getting a comfort bridle, I have about £50 to spend just for everyday use.

I have narrowed it down to either a Rhinegold, Heritage of J Barclay - I understand these are all made by the same people?? But which is the better quality/softest leather etc?

Help!

I think it is the same people
The german comfort is a nice bridle and sold quite a few
And never had complaints
Rhinegold is a german company and so use German leather and the Heritage one is English

I have the heritage one, have had it for nearly a year and it still looks brand new (when cleaned!!) after being used every day. I like it so much, I have just bought another one in havana to use for jumping (dressage tack is black), it was the best value for money I could find!

I have a Heritage (albeit not the comfort bridle) and I know several others who have them too - for the price, it seems like a good quality, well-made bridle. Mine cleans up beautifully, even after it has been drenched or covered in mud, and I would agree with the earlier poster who said that hers looks like new even after a year. The sizing is also reasonable, none of this 'enormous throatlash/tiny browband' for the size which you sometimes get with other brands. :)

I have the J Barclay and that's nice. I changed the cheek pieces as I hate buckles but the leather is nice and the fit is good.

I also have a heritage one knocking about. Also perfectly nice although I got mine at trade price and so only paid about £25 or something.

And I have a Rhinegold one (not a comfort one though) and I like that too.

I think I prefer the J Barclay one out of all three but only because it has a thicker noseband. In terms of quality I think they're probably all much of a muchness :)
