Comfortable reins for rain and sweaty hands?

I know the answer is probably to wear gloves! ?

Current reins are Albion - those really flexible rubber ones, with pimples, but I’ve found they go really slippy in the rain or when my hands are sweaty. Are there any recommendations for something with a bit more grip (but still narrow gauge and comfortable)?

I have English Bridles Suregrip reins which are continental webbing reins. Lovely and comfortable to hold, grippy and have the leather stopper bits spaced out evenly which help with keeping the hands on the reins in the same place both sides. I only wear gloves in the winter.

They're not at all posh (and appreciate they would not be suitable for showing etc) but I love my Libby's reins as they don't slip no matter what the weather or sweatiness of my hands.

Leather plaited reins flexible and grippy in all weathers look for a 2nd hand pair as they are better when the leather is supple
