Winston keeps coming in on the lunge. He will do about two or three circles in trot and come in. He doesnt do this in walk but he does in trot. I try and put the whip by his should to push him back out but he just tends to ignore it. Back fine, Teeth fine, is quite unfit but I have barely asked anything of him more yet hes just lunged in a snaffle bridle. Any ideas?

My horse used to do this when he was a youngster and I had no-one around to help. I found it useful to build a box with jump poles that I stood in and they encouraged him to go around them in a circle. Sometimes it didn't work but it gave him the idea of how to keep out on a circle anyway, worth a try maybe?

use a second lunge line to give you more control of him.Either that or be firmer with the whip at his shoulder. Also make sure you are stood in the right place so as not to give him the idea that you are asking him to stop.If you are stood in front of his shoulder then he may think you are asking him to stop
