Coming off Regumate - any advice?

My mare has been on Regumate for what we thought was an ovarian/hormone problem. Turns out the saddle was the issue, causing nerve compression and pain. I had the saddle checked 3 times but unfortunately by the same person who deemed it a perfect fit. Anyhow I'm planning on taking her off Regumate but am worried that her seasons will come back in a dramatic fashion. She was never mareish before. She's on the minimal dose (12ml) daily. Anyone any experience of taking a mare of Regumate at this time of the year?

I use it for my tricky one just for her first and last seasons of the year. I just stop it when I think we're past the tricky period. Then she goes back to her normal cycles.
