Comment on etiquette on TMV

You beat me to it! I read that earlier and meant to copy and paste it here, got distracted by work and forgot!
Some really good articles this month (also by our Master Sue Simmons), like Harry says it is important to keep the standards up because once they are gone, they are gone forever.
 
Excellent article- i think my favourite bit was:
Going hunting should not be like going to a hunter trial, or a team chase event. It should be special, and so the standards have to remain high and must be upheld. Horses should be turned out to the very highest standard, and so should the riders. This is as a mark of respect to the masters, the meet host, and most importantly to the landowners over whose land people are riding. If the mounted field look like a Sunday afternoon trek, then the splendour is lost, and so too will access to land.
