I know they're pretty poor quality and not the best angles etc, but they're fairly short vids (promise) so if anyone could take a look and comment on how sound you think my horse is looking I'd be very grateful!

Like Box_Of_Frogs I thought there was a bit of a nod on one front, plus she looked a bit shorter than I'd expect on both fronts. I don't know how she normally moves though so my opinion isn't worth much.

I hope whatever you're worried about isn't the case though.

Thanks guys

She has always been very, very short-striding anyway so I don't have a huge issue with that. I *think* the sort of "hesitancy" with her left fore is due to the fact that she has been lame for so long in that leg, and the injury she sustained last year (DDFT tear) was more than likely the second time she has torn that tendon.
I'm not allowed to trot or turn her yet so we'll have to wait and see about that!

I don't expect her to be sound enough to do anything but hack any more anyway so it's not a huuuuuge issue - thanks for the comments though

she/he seems 'footy' in front but is hard to pin point if one or both fores!!! sorry not much help, could be from being shod recently and a bit short praps!!

Ah, stupid me forgot to mention she has had trouble with seedy toe recently too. I've been treating it for a month or so and feeding her a foot supplement and it's clearing up nicely. Vet and I reckon that's what been keeping her nigglingly lame for so long.
She's unshod and a bit footsore on hard ground too (although that's not really an excuse on the grass)

We should start the "my horse is not right on its off fore or am i paranoid?" clique! She is slightly pottery in front but bearing in mind her history its hard to say if its lameness or an aquired gait. My cob who had terrible laminitis before i got him was hopping lame going down hills, wouldnt track up- in fact the vet failed him on 3 legs but getting his feet right combined with lots of walking with the emphasis of self carriage and using his hocks rather than his forehand really improved him. I suppose its more a mechanical lameness rather than a "ouch that hurts" lame.
She moves in a very similar way to J-our ID with (alleged) coffin joint arthritis he is still not sound on a tight turn when hooning in the field but looks fab in a straight line. Vet wants shoes back on tomorrow and putting slowly back into work so he can reassess soundness and then finally get referred for MRI...
Fingers crossed for both our special (needs) horses!

Mmmm I would be slightly suspect about the the near fore.....

However, until she trots really difficult to say.
