Hi there
What are peoples thoughts on the communication devices going around. I have been looking at the WHIS system, Cee Coach and Equi coach and thought they might be useful if working outside in a field or if its windy.

I've got a ceecoach and love it. Means I hear everything and don't have to turn my head or twist. Makes a big difference.

Hi there
Is it good to use at a distance and do you think it's quite sturdy.

It's very sturdy, really easy to use. I've used it fine in a 60x20 and plan to use it xc schooling but horse is coming back from an injury.

My trainer has some bog standard waterproof walkie-talkies from Amazon (bright yellow ones - motorola maybe?). They easily do the job and are cheaper than the coaching version! Distance on them is great, although we do occasionally accidentally end up on the same channel as the local shoot...they now know all about outside rein!

Our Club has WHIS system. We have used it on XC courses with no problem.

Personally I don't like it. I find it makes me very in my own zone, and less interactive with those around me, or even the instructor.
