There are prob hundreds of posts like this, but if you dont ask you dont get...
I'm looking for a horse to be a companion for my mare, who gets stressed when her mate goes out for a hack.. I would really love to have an ex-racer.. i'm not in any rush to ride the horse, so maybe home one that needs rest and recouperation before being bought back into work, probably next spring, but even then wouldnt be worked hard, and there will be no competition work. Would like a horse who is of similar height to my mare.. shes 16.2, so anything from 15.3 to 16.2hh....
Our field, backs onto a forest, horse would be living out 24/7...
If anyone knows of a racehorse needing a new quiter life please PM me.
