Companion, thank you for all your advice

Following my recent post regarding my Weimaraners new companion I would like to thank all of you who gave me advice through a difficult time.
Weimaraner number 2 has now gone to live with a very good friend of mine as the fighting was getting worse by the day and not better, it got to the point where Weimaraner number one would not let Weimaraner number 2 into the kennel and she spent all day sat out in the rain.
Weimaraner number 2 is now really happy and settled in her new home and is enjoying the full attention of her new mummy.
We have now been given a 7 month old collie X lab and Weimaraner number 1 loves her, there is no tension between them and they play for hours. I can even feed them in the same place !
Thanks again for all your advice and I just wanted to let you all know that things seem to have finally worked out for the best all round

Glad you got it sorted- sounds like the ideal solution all round and I hope your new doggy continues to settle in.

Excellent. I am sorry you had to get rid of your dog, but an established bitch will often be more tolerant toward a puppy; their responses are different and they are much more submissive. I am glad it all worked out well for you in the end.
