Hi,

my friend has asked me to make a post about the best place to look for a companion for her horse. Any ideas? I've tried the usual for sale sites without much luck.

Yeah she had thought about that but she needs it relatively quickly as her situation has changed and she gathers the process with them would be relatively long

Chumsmum is looking to loan her shetland might be worth a pm? However she is based in Worcestershire, but she is also looking to sell her other one.

I know someone who has a section a that is desperately looking for a home. 11hh 16 month old gelding. Halter broken, well handled, been led out in traffic etc.

Thank but i think that would be too far - she hasn't got her own transport so would have to pay to have it picked up so she is just sticking to looking relatively locally

Hi

Im looking for a home for my retired 15hh mare, she is retired due to kissing spine but other than that is totally healthy and does not require any medication, just cant be ridden. She is bare foot and a real sweetie. She will live in or out, but does not like to be left on her own.
Let me know if you are interested.
Cheers
Sam

Im in somerset, I have transport so if its long term I would be more than willing to deliver her ................

Could you possibly pm me your number which i could pass on to my friend and i can get her to call you if she's interested?

Thank you for thinking of me! I think it is a little too far - Norman has never been more than 15mins drive from the place he was born

Hopefully I can find him a home a little closer to me. Good luck in your search for a companion.
