Basically not the winter coming but the winter after I am going to consider bringing my horse home for the winter and she will not be kept on her own.
So I will be looking for a companion and I am more then happy to get an older horse/something that can't be ridden/pony.I am really not fussy as long as it doesn't need shoes. I don't even mind a poorer doer that needs bringing in and rugging in the winter.

The companion horse doesn't even need to be good in the field on its own as long as it will be stabled on its own for an hour or two.

But I would like to rehome something from a rescue center as people are always saying they are full to bursting.

But I am near the region of Carlisle, where are the rescue centers near me?! Yes I am planning WAY ahead but I like to be orginised and know what my options are :D

Just go to Kirkby Stephen auction mart or Carlisle aution nearer the time. There are plenty there that will need rescuing for very little money I can assure you. You can take your pick.
