Competing in Ireland Aff

Can anyone who competes affiliated in Ireland (eventing and dressage) tell me if brown long riding boots are allowed?
recently been told they are not permitted but a quick look at the rule books for both Eventing Ireland and Dressage Ireland didn’t confirm this so a bit confused…

Eventing Ireland rule book says yes

Dressage Ireland is a bit more vague but states brown tack is permitted, so can’t imagine there would be an issue.

Ps I’ll be out at an EI event on Saturday so will keep an eye out for brown boots. From memory I did see some at a couple of recent events we’ve been to.
