I'm due to be going out showjumping on Sunday and farrier is due Monday but her feet (barefoot) are looking rather long. Although I know they aren't causing her any discomfort, looking for opinions as to whether you would still compete? They aren't excessive or unbalanced just a tad longer than usual. My only concern is if people get strung up on it as it is our local venue and BSJA so would rather there were no problems. I will try to post a photo later to show length!
TIA for all opinions

Why not take a rasp to the toes yourself? It's almost impossible to do any damage by just shaping up the front a little, following the shape of the horn growth. File towards the middle from the side, and/or downwards from above to take off the length, and give a 'roll' to the front.

I really wouldn't want to! Also may be difficult to get a suitable rasp in 2 days ( used to have one but since sacrificed). I don't trust many people with her precious toes!
