Is this allowed? Just a bridle stripped down to the headpiece and bit (and reins of course) for BS and RC mainly?

I know BS have been making lots of changes lately but I cant find info on if you HAVE to use these.

RC noseband of some sort is compulsory.

BS no noseband is fine but unsure on browband; it's not mentioned in the official equipment document at all

Curious…
I get no noseband (although sadly mandatory for dressage). No browband though? It’s just there to stop the headpiece sliding backwards. You can have an oversized one. I guess perhaps your plaits would keep everything in place?

I made a browband out of a black t shirt. My little highland had a huge forehead so I plaited some t shirt material. It worked quite well.

Harry Charles rides Fighting Phil without a browband. It’s a change to his usual bridle set up but seems to work for him. I bred Phil and if he is anything like his siblings he will be quite opinionated on how he likes things so assume they are trying to see what works best for him.

That was a beautiful round

Neither of mine wear browbands; one has a massive head and even XF is not big enough. He wears a Micklem so still gets a noseband
The other has a dinky little head but came in once with a fly bite where the browband would sit so I took it (and the noseband) off, I thought just until the bite went down, but never got round to putting them back on
Neither bridle moves from where it should be and the horses are happy with the set up
