Competition/ 5 point breastplates

i want to order a brown one for our 16.2 ID x hunter- he takes a normal full size breastplate ATM although it is on the looser holes. I like the look of the Jeffries one but was worried as one website described them as cob/full

anyone have one ? the cheapest i have found it is £115 + post- can anyone find a better deal

That price is about right. Do they make an ex full size?

My cob is a full size in most things but when I ordered a Jeffries hunting breastplate, the regular style, the full size was massive, he now has a cob size which I would never have thought he would have needed, so I am thinking they may come up big, you may just need a cob size??? is your current breastplate jeffries??

The Jefferies come up big, My 16.1hh/16.2hh ISH with a huge shoulder has it on the tightest hole all over.

Jen1 -The current one is Morris and Nolan full size.
KatB- is your jeffries the 5 point or a regular hunting breastplate?

The Albion One is really good too, around £99, they do it in Havana, Mocha and Black, i think from memory. My 16hh2 has a full size and that is a good size!

I have the Jeffries 5 point on my TB mare, she is chunky, but has to have it on the tightest hole allround. Paid £113 from local saddlers, so think £115 + postage is not bad....... Townfields do one too but that was around £135. The Jeffries one is lovely........

We have the Townfields one in full size for a 16.2 ISH and is also on the tightest holes.

the jeffries 5 point breastplate in full size didnt fit pickle at all he is 17.1hh though was very upset!

bought the jeffries 5 point one recently for Pidge, thanks KatB

, and I have it on the biggest holes and it only just fits him

he is 17hh and has huge shoulders though.
