I feel like I've tried them all. Latest pair are biscuit Flexars and whilst they are super comfortable, they don't hold everything in as they are so stretchy. They look truly awful in the saddle and I look even bigger! Can anyone recommend any supportive, structured beige competition breeches.

I have the same dilemma! Still looking. My favourite so far is I think the equitech fox hunter ones as I don’t like full seat. But they are more like a classic jodhpur so aren’t clingy but they are comfy and a decent thickness. Equus have a hkm hunter which might be worth a look although I’ve probably already tried it and discounted before and I’ve just forgotten !

I have flexars - but they need to be tight. I found I could go smaller than I would normally .
Yes I know. I have medium flexars even though I'm a 16 to 18. (I have numerous pairs in dark colours which are fine for everyday use) They are still v stretchy, so I need something less stretchy and more supportive.

I like Cavallo Cavagrip, fit well and people comment on how nice they are. Colour is wheat but more a creamy colour. They are not that thick but tough material with just enough stretch. They are full seat but not as sticky as some.

Downside is they are seriously expensive if you pay full price but hunt around for sales.

I look like a whale in leggings. I live in breeches. Big fan of Pikeur, ariat, Eileen Douglas, and premier equine. I do have shires on the list as seem to have some good options. I don’t like full seat so often limits my choice.

I've given up caring what I look like and just wear the most comfy ones, which for me are Flexars as the high waist suits me, lots of others fall down on me.

I always used cavallo Chagall as they were high waisted and seem to give me support. I got mine mainly from e bay and managed to get them for under £100 , and they do last ages so worth the spend IMO

I have gone back to wearing the pair of Mark Todd breeches that I bought 20 years ago when I started to ride. They are not particularly stretchy and go up to 34 waist.

I have just bought the white 🙈 Horzehoods riding tights, they are so comfy and fairly flattering and don't pull down unlike my flexars!!

Do your Flexars fall down too? Mine always fall down but as their adverts always say they dont fall down, I assumed it was just me 🙈
