Competition Horse class

Does anyone know what you're expected to do for a competition horse showing class? I assume its like a conventional showing class, but do you have to jump?

I compete my boy in unaff dressage and showing but we're having a go at some amateur unaff showing next year. Unfortunately, I've lost my nerve to jump so if this class involves jumping I may ask a friend if she'll take him for me.

It usually involves some form of jumping. Can range from a single jump as part of your show or a whole course depends on the particular show rules. Most likely just to ba single jump I suspect.

Depends on who is running the show I think. I used to do the Ponies UK competition pony class and for that there was no jumping just a set show within a timescale.

I did one this weekend with my youngster - it was a course of 8 fences followed by freestyle show. I would call and find out!
