Competition name?

Hey all,

I’ve had my mare for over a year now but she didn’t have a show/competition name when I bought her and I can’t think of any others that would go along well with her stable name !
Her names Pandora, I have two ideas that I’ve gotten from friends :
- Pandoras Box
- Eywas Child ( avatar reference , the earth is called Pandora but they also call Pandora ‘ eywas child ‘)
I quite like these but was wondering if anyone had any other ideas ?? ☺

You can change it, and with it not having a stud suffix there's only one reason not to...a lot of people believe it is bad luck!

For those of us familiar with the Greek myth I'm afraid Pandora's Box would seem a rather unpleasant name as it realised curses and suffering on the world when she opened it. Because of the myth the phrase is often used as shorthand for a present which seems valuable/attractive but which is actually a curse. Bit of an unfortunate story though as it's yet another one in which a woman (in this case Pandora) gets blamed for the world's evils (like poor Eve in the bible).

I think the name Pandora sounds nice though, so maybe you could just use that with a descriptive prefix or suffix like Silver Pandora (as she's grey)?

All the Gifts is a lovely name and very appropriate for a rescue. It definitely gets my vote.
