What do you do with your old rosettes and other prizes you have won over the years??
I have loads of rosettes and small cups e.g. I can’t bring myself to bin them..

I have a bag full at home and the latest ones are in my lorry as I wouldn't put them up at home as I am 33 and should be a bit grown up. Although my friend told me it was naff to have them in your lorry.

Lorry....

The kids each have their own wall, and I have the area behind the driver.....we're not too competitive fortunately

I had boxes of them when I was younger....they all went into my parents loft....and now they're gone

I'll never grow up

I've got this years small collection stuffed in a bag at home and some are still in the boot of my car as I haven't been bothered to move them.
I donated all my old PC ones to my teacher mum to use as bribes, sorry, rewards for her Yr 1 classes. They even love getting a 'special' rosette - which is good as there were a lot of those!

.....my mother threw away ALL my rosettes from my childhood and teenage years, every one of them. They were all over the walls of my old bedroom, and instead of taking them down and putting them in the attic, she chucked them. It was awful! Now that I'm competing again I'm starting a new collection, but have a long way to go before I replace all those which were chucked out.

Most of them are in a couple of large cardboard boxes in the loft

I have a couple of red ones out on displaythough

I have all my rosettes in 2 black bags in my loft! I did have them all in our lorry but then we sold that and got as new one so they all went in the loft.

All the recent ones are collecting in the lorry again though!

And as for any prizes I have won, well I use them! I won a leather headcollar at a BE event that I use I won a t-shirt that I wear, hole puncher that comes in very handy!!!

WE have pin boards in out kitchen that we put our rosettes on. and the old ones in plastic bags in cupboards and in the loft. As its only dad who has a horse and he doesn't like going to competitions by himself there arn't many.

When mum was the secretary of my pony club I would often put the rosettes back in the boxes to be used again.

Trophies are on a window sill in the sitting room- put not many left now

I would NEVER knowingly throw away a rosette however old it was. To be honest most of my rosettes are years old - I seemed to get lots as a kid/teenager and these days they are not so easy to come by - perhaps it is because I don't do handy rider classes anymore

Prizes have always been cherished - even the naff mug with a horses head on it, the trophy that has a screw loose and wobbles if you so much as look at it. I did win a dressage book once - that was cool, and once a plaque that had my name engraved although I could only keep that for a year.... since then total drought

Any unwanted prizes to me please - then I can go home after a show after digging them out of the garage and proudly say I won!!!

Well when i first started i had a small square of that holey material and i sewed a loop at the top of it and put a rod through it and hung it on my wall and hooked my rosettes on it, now three large pieces of material later plus covering all the tops of the picture frames in the dining room and the top of a wall in the utility room and two boxes full, i think i may be asked to throw some of my rossies out soon

Daughter has some on her wall & most in a drawer. Some trophies on a table but alot of them you kept for 12 months & then returned so we have quite a few little plaques to commemorate them.

She always writes on the back of the rossettes date & class. Her mother has a load from 30 years ago, again dates & class writen on the back.

All mine are on several cork boards, some more important ones are next to their corresponding pro pic, as are the little cups.
The one trophy we won had a cheesy photo taken of it!aaahh memories....

all of mine , most of which are 20 odd years old , are in a carrier bag stuffed down the side of the settee having just been rescued from the garage! ash has only been competing one season and has already covered one bedroom wall, im sure she will just fill the whole house up given half the chance!

Most of mine are in a box at my parents house and some are up on the wall in my old room. It's nice to walk in and see them when I go home!! Still have to persaude my OH to let me have some up in our flat tho - he's still complaining about all the horsey photos lol!
