Hello
Just thought I would ask for recommendations on leather competition boots. I have very short legs and a wider calf, I always find that leather boots end up either bruising/digging in behind the knee, or that there is no give at the ankle and I struggle to keep my heels down. I mainly compete in dressage and some showing - any ideas of where I should start my search for a good boot..? I currently have the mountain horse sportive with heel raisers but find that after I get off the zips have come undone and the boots are gaping - not a good look with white jods....lol...
For everyday riding I love my ariats (ankle boots with chaps) but aren't to keen on the longer version with the laces... Can I show in them..?
Is it 'correct' to show in plain leather boots with strap at the top..?
Thanks for reading and would appreciate your feedback on good boots....xx
