Thanks everyone for your recommendations in my last post for a stock shirt (just bought a Horze one!). Now my thoughts are on a new shirt with tie collar for showing. I want one in a technical type fabric (not traditional cotton), plain white (or off white) in short sleeves. I really like the Premier Equine one but cant afford to spend near £50 on one.

I cant find any though, can anyone recommend??

I asked this the other day, but I want a cotton one, not technical....I found Mrs Candy online, look like lovely shirts, but maybe wouldn't suit you because of the cotton bit - they are poly-cotton but look lovely and are £29.

I got my PE sleeveless one in the sale, best thing I ever did, I love it, I think it's at £45 atm and would pay that if I had too. Sorry, guess that doesn't help much haha!

Cool Equestrian do an "ice" shirt which is a good alternative to the Teque Style, but not *quite* as good IMHO!

I noticed in R&R equestrian the other day there was a short sleeve tie shirt technical material really rather cheap and it seemed really nice. Might have been Shires? Try having a look on their website :).

I was going to buy a premier equine one then I saw a shires one for 12.99 in my local saddlers! It's great, has a cotton collar and top section ( bib?!) then the sides, bottom and back are a breathable technical fabric. Have worn it a few times including last weekend in v not weather and its been v comfy and cool.

If you're showing you don't want plain white really. I think TAGG do a really nice pale yellow cotton show shirt with a tie collar.

I got tesco school shirts and chucked them in the wash with some dusters, not a technical fabric but I find them cool in hot weather.

Thanks everyone. I really like the ICE ones, but they only seem to do them in pink which is a bit of an odd colour for showing?! Why on earth they chose that and not cream/white etc. I dont understand.

That Shires one looks great, may go for that at that price!

Does it really matter if its not canary the shirt? I always thought white was fine, its certainly what Ive always worn! Showing-wise, I do working hunter and ridden hunter. Thanks!
