Posting on behalf of a friend - appolgies if I dont have all the correct details

Afellow livery is going away this weekend to a competition where their horse is being stabled there from Fri night to Sunday night. They lost their passport recently during a move and have a duplicate being sent this week. Now, here is the problem. Their horses vaccinations was out of date by a little over 1 month so they called the vet out on Saturday (6 days before event) This vaccination will be put into the passport by Wednesday with saturday as the vaccination date.
So friend has a duplicate passport with 1 record of a vaccination 6 days prior to the event being just over 1 month overdue.....

event is a very long drive away.......

What would you do? would you go?

Is this an Event which requires sight of the vaccination record?

In which case I don't think your friend can compete as if she's missed the annual booster she'll have to start the course again, and I'm not sure whether you just have to have the initial vac on the card to be eligible to compete, or whether you need the 6 week booster.

Also, has the horse only got 6 days between vac and competition? As I think you have to have 7 - for Riding Club, not sure about the other disciplines.

'Fraid Spruce is right. The minimum requirement will be the 1st 2 vaccinations (minimum of 21 days apart) then 7 days, before the horse will be 'legal' to compete.

I have a feeling my friend seems to think that it will be ok as it could look like its the annual booster - this is just why I dont compete! hassel!

Ring the secretary and ask if they are checking passports / vaccinations but might be an idea not to give your name if it's avoidable!
