... that make a good day out for the family? We loved Powderham, and would love to know what events we should come to this year. Always follow the WH P2P, and of course R Cornwall and Stithians, but what else?

Camleford show is nice, Devon County is good fun, Nutwell Court (Exeter) is nice Horse Trials although classes not as big as Powderha. PRobably forgotten loads.

Bicton BE, new event this year.

Probably a bit far but the North Somerset and Mid Somerset shows are excellent, with ridden, in hand and jumping competitions pretty much all day, as well as the rest of the show with; food for me and clothes for her.
