Competitive Insurance from Amtrust Equine

I have just received an excellent quote from AmTrust £100 cheaper than my current insurer! Are they any good to deal with?

The only negative thing that I've heard is that they will only spend up to £1200 on MRI's, exploratory things etc. Other than that haven't heard anything else detrimental. Will be interested to see what experiences members have had with them. We pay a fortune for insurance and any saving has to be worth looking at.

Amtrust are generally more expensive than competitors too, so better to get lots of quotes!

I have found AmTrust a good company and also have the trailer added on to the horse policy.

On a similar note I have had what seemed to be a too good to be true quote from horseinsurance.co.uk. Anybody got any horror stories to tell about them?

horseinsurance.co.uk is underwritten by Equine & Livestock Co which is E & L. i had a quote from them too, i knew it was to good to be true!

Amtrust are excellent, thoroughly recommend them

I am insured with them and they have been absolutely great to deal with. Their premiums are very competitive for my competition horses and i couldnt fault them when i had a claim.

I'm with Amtrust can highly recommend them, had a problem with my horse sent the claim forms in and they paid the vets directly the following week 'fantastic'
