Competiton riding boots recommendations!

I've just found out what xmas pressie I will be getting from mother, and she is allowing me any pair of competiton riding boots that I so wish

. How wicked is that!! Anyway, having not bought a pair in a very long time, pls would you be so kind as to recommend me a pair of boots. If they can be specially made (as apparently I have "funny legs" as someone once said lol

I'd prefer to say longish very slim legs, very small ankles) and price, how long lasting, comfy, stylish etc. Btw I really like close contact boots ie. not big chunky ones as I am petite and they look a tad strange on me! Probably also should say that I event, I also do BSJA and BD, so would need all round boots for all phases. Thankies.

My best boots came from Schneider in London, they will make to measure, they used to be £500 a pair, but I suspect they have gone up now.

I've just had some De Niro's. Can't rate them highly enough. Lovely and supple right from the word go and come in all shapes and sizes. Cost me just under £300.

I did have some Petries which were rock hard and so unbearable I got rid of them on ebay for £6!!

I'm another one who will second De Niros, mine look like they're made to measure and were really comfy from day one. I've got ickle ankles and they have loads of fittings so you should find some that fit.

Another vote for De Niros. Loved mine from day one never needed breaking in and look raelly smart. Also usually find boots too big round the ankle. Got mine at Olympia from stand called Joshua Jones and must have tried on 6-7 pairs to get the sizing spot on

My son has De niros and loves them. If i ever get brave enough to compete i will buy myself some

yep go De Niros!

Go to Morocco and get them made to measure at the cavalry in Temara. You can probably get a pair of the best boots I have seen (you can choose the style, leather lining, everything) and the flight for the same as De Niros and have a holiday at the same time
