Hi,

My boy is currently eating Primero Equine Total. Aside from Winergy Equilibrium (which is more expensive), do you know of any other complete feeds suitable for a horse working 5-6 days per week - ideally slightly cheaper but of comparable quality?

The horse is a fit 3/4 TB of 10 years old. Very forward and a little fizzy. Holds condition (too) well in the summer but can fall away just slightly in winter. I am looking for an appetising fibre based complete feed with enough cereals to make it interesting and provide sufficient energy and condition.

He is at a busy livery yard so I am keen for a single complete feed that is easy to manage yet cost efficient.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Dengie make a small range of fibre feeds that combine alfalfa with concentrate feed in the same bag (IIRC). I assume that's the sort of thing you're talking about? Have a look at the Dengie website/give them a call/both
