Does anyone feed a complete hay replacer? I am at a yard where we have to buy hay from the yard owner but the hay is really poor quality plus very dusty and I end up throwing loads away - it’s also very expensive! So looking for something I can give instead of hay but not sure what. She already has Thunderbrook chaff and a balancer. We are not allowed haylage either ….

The easiest thing is chaff (Honeychop Lite and Lean is good for fatties) mixed in a big trug with soaked grass nuts or Speedibeet or a mix of the two. It’s easier if you mix it after you’ve added water but before it’s started to soak.
