When they say include a "Self seal" envelope with your entry form, does a "lick 'n' stick" type count as self seal, or does it need to be a "pull off strip to reveal sticky strip" type envelope?!

Just thought of the poor entry secretary having to lick 'n' stick 300 odd envelopes, never entered one before and doing it on a day ticket, so don't want to do anything wrong!

(told you it was a really numpty Q!

Oh... and just thought, on the day ticket entry form under "Horse Details", there's an option of "Horse day ticket" @ £16 or "Horse/Owner day ticket" @ £32.

As I'm the rider/owner and will be also purchasing a "Rider day ticket", I only need the "Horse day ticket", don't I?

'cos I'm getting excited and doing the form in advance of entries opening next weekend!

It also doesn't mention on the BE site that there will be an online option for this event? (Strathallan)

Also, as it's a day ticket entry, I'm going to make sure a copy of my email offering volunteering services on the other day goes in there too!

I too am confused by the horse part of the entry! as I too am the owner and rider and going on a day ticket to strathallan (fingers crossed)!

The owner bit is for when the horse is owned by someone other than the rider. So for eg if your horse was owned by someone else and they wanted their name in the programme as the horses owner, they would have to be a member.

I used day tickets a while back, you will need a horse/owner ticket as well as your rider one. Also I'm pretty sure Strathallan can be entered online via www.bdwp.co.uk, and i always send a normal envelope and seems fine...
What class are you in? Should *finger and toes crossed* have madam fit for the BE100, so hopefully see you there

That's what I thought too, I'm guessing your entry was accepted and therefore you were right?!
