Complimented on hi-viz!!

So...it seems there can never be too much hi-viz, my friend was out riding on my welshie yesterday when a gentlemen pulled up and congratulated her on the fact that she was the first horse and rider he had seen decked out in hi-viz that day and what a fantastic difference it made to him as a driver, he could see her from well over 200mtrs away!! So that ridiculous comment in H&H is totally meaningless and should never have been printed!! We shall wear our hi-viz with pride!! My lad goes out in hi-viz exercise sheet, leg bands and rider in polite waistcoat.

I have the Polite jacket and a driver not so long ago slowed down beside me and told me he thought the car in front of him was a drunk driver. Thought I was the Police!

I got told twice that I looked like a 'police lady' yesterday, I wasn't even wearing the 'polite' range, just a Lunarider jacket, hat band and leg wraps on the horse. If people get that impression and slow down and behave themselves then that's fine by me.
