Concered about eye

Harry is my 14 year old Welsh A, was out on loan for 2+ years but is now back home. Recently (last few days) we noticed he was holding his head to the side slightly when looking at us, (tilted)

It seemed odd to me, and my first thought was that maybe he was losing his sight in his right eye. We tested his left by waving hand up and down and he did as expected, flinched, blinked etc, but with the right there was no reaction.

Obviously I will be getting vet to check him, just wondered what people think, am I fretting over nothing?
I took a photo of right eye, it shows more white than the other and has a 'film' of dark red (?).
When he came home, his eyes were quite runny (but cleared up with treatment ).
He is happy, still hooning around and was ridden without problems as he always was.

Could he still have some conjunctivitis? I think that would explain the red film maybe? I know sometimes there can be residual infection even when the eye is 'apparently' better, that's why if you are ever given eye drops etc you are told to take them for what feels like weeks after the eye is better!

I hope it is something simple and the vet can clear it up for you quickly.
 
The photo isn't easy to inerpret because of the reflection. But at first glance I would say you need the vet as an emergency NOW because that looks like pooled blood inside the cornea. He may have had a traumatic injury that has detached something within the structure of the eye itself. It's possible he's run full tilt into something and the pooled blood may be harmless but put it this way, if he was my horse he would have had the vet out the instant I saw that eye.

Also the pupil looks small/constricted. Needs vet ASAP.
