Condition check on oldie please

Sorry everyone, I didn't see that I had more replies :o

Thank you everyone for the reassurance and ideas.

The only thing he is not already getting is the micronised linseed. I cant seem to find it at the feed merchants I have been to so far.

Any ideas for someone who stocks it in the Leeds/Harrogate area.

Most people here get in online from Charnwood Milling - I'm getting mine from there next month. Hope that helps.

Thank you, I have had a look on their site but the mail order bit is not working. I will ring them on Monday

Fantastic, is he rugged and do you give him soaked feeds for his lack of dentures.

Yes he is rugged, only in mediumweights at the moment but when it gets cold he will go into heavyweights, or even two :o He isn't allowed to get cold or wet - ever. He gets soaked feeds including sugar beet, super conditioning flake mix, nuts, bran (keeps his guts moving as he has had colic twice) raw molasses, oil and every supplement known, well it feels like that at feed time. Have tried fast fibe but he doesn't like it. Actually have tried a lot of things which should be good for him but he is very opinionated and just spits them out. He still eats two huge nets of haylage at night, he does soak it in his tub first though. Yard must think I'm nuts lugging that thing around when he has an automatic waterer. His teeth aren't actually that bad he can still crunch whole carrots and apples :D

All I can say is WOW for 36 he looks amazing! He looks better than my 10 yr old TB at the minute!

I remember that, my last throughbred was 35 years ago as well :D :D
