When i got her as 3 yo

Last winter

Today! Hows she looking?

17 yo shetland. Suffers from cushings and laminitis

21yo (no idea of breeding) 13hh

Please be honest. They are kept at home and because i see them everyday its hard to notice weight wise any changes! Thanks in advance!!

The coloured pony looks super, a real transformation.
I would however be very careful with the 21 year old she is extremely cresty and she looks bordering on laminitis IMO.

She has always had a crest and I just cannot shift it no matter what I do even when she was hunting and extremely fit she still had the crest. I keep a close eye on her digital pulse, heat in her feet etc but i will try and up her work load again as she is gaining pads of fat on her shoulders. Wish there were more hours in the day!

I agree with watching the weight of the others - perhaps a weightape would help.

I have got a weight tape and weight them weekly. The shetland is 121kg and the 21yo is 333kg which is a good weight for her but she is looking cresty. Looks like I will have to start riding and leading again :-s

Me I wouldn't worry about the 17 and 21 year olds, as you've done them fine and know them better than anyone else and the coloured looks very well.
