I'm currently looking to but a young mare that was in foal but list it 8 weeks ago. I think the mare is quite lacking in condition (especially compared to pics of a year ago where she had a foal at foot). Could this just be teh stress and the fact she has been living out without a hard feed? I'm not looking to breed from her but for me at the moment she is quite angular and poorer than the price point suggests she should be? Or am I being too short sighted?
