Condition pic, Hows she looking?

I'd say maybe a little heavy for going into spring grass IMO. However, hard to say without knowing personal circumstances.

Finding it hard to look at the rest of her as it involves tearing my eyes away from her purdy purdy face!! Lovely!!

Agree with previous poster, looks splendid/doesnt need any more weight on I would say.

Thanks for the replies.

She is a rising 3 Dutch warmblood X Irish TB standing at approx 16.1-16.2hh. Has started living out this week with hay given at night as not a huge amount of grass and is rugged in a lightweight overnight, bug rug during the day.
I stopped giving her hard feed back in january as she was getting a bit fat ( was only mix and chaff)

I popped her on the lunge today and this is how she looks on the lunge
(She has been lunged previously on vets recommendation for locking stifle.)

But can see her ribs here ( not the most flattering of pics)

She is a good doer, Obviously due to her age I cant do much 'work' but she will be backed this summer.
Hopefully she will not put any more on as I have reduced the amount of hay she gets and there isnt much grass available??!!

Yes she is quite pretty for a plain brown donkey I'm a bit smitten!

Oohh shes rather nice!! I wouldnt want any more on her. Id maintain it as best you can until shes old enough to start work, then you can get some muscle tone
