A few weeks ago I posted pics of my TB looking pretty manky coming out of winter having lived out 24/7.
She is 18 now and does not like to be stabled. Is unclipped and double rugged when required. Has big stone barn bedded down in field if she wants it and one feed per day. Have gradually reduced from hay to grass.
These pics are 6 weeks apart, been back in work for 2 weeks now.
Wanted to post this to show what a difference spring grass makes to an old nag (please excuse the baggy lunge line and side reins that have slipped down)
