CONFESSION TIME - What rugs do you have??

Pidge 17hh ISH with a full clip (I leave his legs on and 1/2 face)
far too many all for one horse but here goes:
2 x mark todd fly rugs
1 x horseware flybuster
1 x thin thermatex
1 x original thermatex
3 x cotton sheet
1 x fal fleece
outdoor breathable rugs:
2 x amigo sheets with neck
1 x rambo duo 100g with the 100g and 300g liners
1 x amigo mediumweight 200g with neck
1 x weatherbeeta landa 370g built in neck
1 x rambo supreme 450g with neck
1 x rambo excel 200g with neck
stable rugs:
2 x amigo light 50g or 100g can't remember
1 x mark todd 200g
exercise sheets:
waterproof flourescent
thermatex
mmm sure there's more I've forgotten

Did thin out my rugs as mainly have breathable outdoors that he wears in the stable rather than change to a stable rug.
oops just remembered I have a comfort zone rug with matching neck cover as well

At the moment he's not clipped so is wearing a fleece rug at night and his lightweight turnout in the field. When he's clipped he'll wear his mediumweight stable rug and a medium or heavyweight turnout in the field

My horse eats his rugs so if any of you would like to give him your surplus stock then i wouldn't mind!!
We went through 3 winter rugs in 3 weeks last year, he is a nightmare - and to add insult to injury when he has managed to tear them off his back he stands over them when you go to fetch him in to show you what he has done!!

My mare has:

1 Shires Fleece with shoulder gussets which is such a lovely fit and nice fleece material

1 M/W Requisite T/O which has a tail flap which keeps coming off

Only got them both this year so 20 is quite good going, give me a year or two and I'm sure the number will have doubled!
Thinking about getting another M/W T/O for each of them as theirs aren't brill and also for drying time of other rugs.

1 WB fleece
1 WB kennel coat
1 fleece
3 towelling rugs
for my 6 dogs! The younger ones will be getting WB or Masta or Thermatex ones for christmas once I have found the best ones to match their leads and collars!! Oh dear.....

Forgot to say they aren't clipped at the mo but will have blanket clips in the next week or so.

ETA: Big mare is hunter clipped and living out in Rambo HW Wug by day with Amgio MW over the top at night. Little TB is blanket clipped and wears Duo with 100g liner by day and 300g liner by night, although if it's really nippy I'll use the 200g liner by day. 2yo is in Rhino MW Wug at night, LW Rambo sheet by day

1 unknown summer sheet - never used
1 thermatex rug - for travel in winter
1 rambo line stable rug (under rug)
1 unknown current fleece with V large hole in it (bloody moths or rats) - nicked lag straps so really should replace with the above fleece !!!
1 thick duvet style stable mid neck rug - not used anymore but too handy to get rid of

2 x exercise sheets 1 mark todd !

as you can tell, Mark Todd fit the big lad best !! (Jumpers are also made by Mark Todd production line)

p.s. Horse lives out 24/7
 
oh god, what a collection, i hate to think of the value of the rugs i have hanging up.
a ridiculous amount to be honest for 2 horses.
still, my motto is you can't be too rich, too thin or have too many rugs for your horses.

1 old mare and 1 old gelding have one MW rug each. Rugs are either Shires or Masta.
 
I still need more rugs - it amazes me how people cope with only a few rugs. I hate counting, but presently Chex has

I have 75 for 2 horses not including any rugs that have been destroyed and now used for spare parts.

I actually had to use a spreadsheet to list them all, but needless to say I have everything - WB, Horseware (Rambo, Rhino and Amigo), Fal, Premier Equine, Bucas, Pessoa, Mark Todd, Masta etc

To the OP, I like having lighter rugs and layering. That way you have more options (although I am not exactly running out of options with my collection).

just had to answer this one! I have fourteen rugs in total for two WB mare both clipped out, haven't got time to list them at the mo, off to the shops!!!! now I've read how many some of you lucky gals have got I'm off to the shops, needn't feel guilty an more hehehe, now which one was it I had my eye on?

The latest addition to her collection is a particularly bright pink cuddly ponies LW turnout, which can be seen a mile off!
 
We seem to have rugs for all occasions alway buying them when they are in sale.... We also have 1 nice show rug for each that only comes out when we have done well.

OMG this post is scaring me... I only have one stable rug, so far as everything else is borrowed but was planning on getting maybe a couple of turnouts (with hoods) and a couple more stable rugs. I'd better re-think and aim for more like 35 new rugs
