Anyone used it? Does it work? Is it competition legal?

Getting fed up of my mare getting stressed in new environments namely competition

Nothing that alters the horses natural state is competition legal!

IT doesn't alter the horse's natural state (well, no more than e.g. the smell of carrots in your pocket alters the horse's natural state ;) ). It is based on pheromones.
However - and I know that concerns were raised when this was introduced - no amount of calming pheromone will act against a situation where the horse is genuinely fearful. You still need to put in place a programme of gradual desensitisation, rather than just administering the pheromone and dumping the horse right back in the middle of the situation they find worrying. It will work as an aid to a correctly designed programme, and actually if you design the programme correctly, you don't need the pheromone.

I was rather put off given that the product is being marketed as a scientific approach, but the promoters manage to spell "Flehmen" incorrectly on their headline page :(

Hi I've used it and it did make a difference would agree with what britestar said it isn't a calmer it just helps them to deal with situations better
It says on the packet it is competition legal hope this helps you can just purchase one sachet to try for around a £5
