I posted this about 15 mins ago, I can find it on my page but not on NL :/ anyway...
Riding a friends blue cross pony today, an Arab/welsh who tends to be a dope on a rope... Until that is, when you c-a-n-t-e-r :O i was with my friend and her pony and went for a gallop across some very large fields with 'plenty of stopping space'. Well, started off all ok lovely canter across this field, then a horse in the next field (who we didn't see at the time) came charging up and set both ponies off.

Now at full gallop on a nutty Arab in a snaffle, I shouted out 'this is going to end bad!'
I thought, sit deep and circle. No chance. Pony galloped off across this field, coming to a farmers track and in Wales, alot of steep slopes everywhere, the track this pony was heading for was extremely steep and another steep field after it, and that's where this pony was heading for and nothing was going to stop it. We jumped down this track with rocks on, and I spotted some lovely, fluffy grass on the side just before the steep field, with barbed wire fence at the bottom, so I shouted my my friend 'im getting off!' so I threw myself onto this very soft piece of grass quite nicely! Unhurt I got up and begged for this pony to stop. Luckily it didn't go down into the barbed wire, it went to chase the sheep instead! Adventually it stopped and we cought it, me very shaken up lead it down onto the road and hoped back on and went home.

I have to say, everything I've been through that has shaken me up the most and I'm shaking even writing this and going through it all in my head again!
I'm just dreading the day I stop bouncing when I hit the ground :p although my back is suffering a tad now but I'll live!
I'll stick to my fat cob thanks :D
