I was debating taking her to a local show inhand but dont want to get shown up, she does move straight but I am not wonderful on confo and I dont want to make a fool of ourselves!!

Would definitely go for it. Good experience, especially if she's good in hand and will stand still !! If in yearling class then they'll all be similar in terms of development. She looks lovely - only thing I would suggest would be to trim her up so you can really see leg conformation, etc.

Hope that helps (treats in the pocket are great for making them stand still when judge looking at them !!).

Yes, I wasnt too sure if the feathers needed to come off.
Her mane was like Tina Turner on a bad day when she came, strangely though she loves it being pulled and I have got the bulk of it out now, she stands loose in the field while I do it - most bizarre!
I was told that Welsh Part Breds should be plaited too?
Knowing me I will trip up and end up on the floor in front of her feet!
